How we work
Our Process, from the first call to the final coat.
This is the same four-step process shown across the site, laid out in full so you know exactly what happens before you book — what we ask, what we look for, what's in the estimate, and how the actual work day goes.
Tell Us About Your Project
Reach out by phone or the contact form with a rough idea of the space and what you'd like done. A few photos and your general timeline help us understand the scope before we even arrive.
What we ask for
Project type, rough room count or scope, any photos you can share, and roughly when you'd like the work done.
What speeds things up
A quick description of the space and any known issues — cracks, stains, a colour change you're planning — helps us prepare for the visit.
What happens next
We follow up to arrange a time for an on-site visit that works for your schedule.
Schedule an On-Site Visit
We visit your property in person to see the actual space — no estimate is given from photos alone. This is where the real scope of the job gets defined.
What we assess
Wall and ceiling condition, existing damage, drywall or ceiling texture, access, and the colours or sheen you have in mind.
Getting ready for us
Clear a path to the areas involved and point out anything that concerns you — a stain, a crack, a spot that's bothered you for years.
How long it takes
Usually a focused visit — enough time to walk every room involved and answer your questions directly.
Representative imageReceive a Clear Estimate
An estimate that spells out what's included — not just a total.
What's in it
Surfaces covered, preparation and repair scope, number of coats, materials, and anything explicitly excluded.
How pricing breaks down
Labour, materials, and preparation are scoped together so the number reflects the actual work, not a generic rate. For drywall or ceiling repair specifically, our repair calculator gives you a ballpark first.
No pressure
Take the estimate away and think it over — there's no obligation to book on the spot.
Preparation and Painting
The largest part of the job, and where careful sequencing shows. Preparation always comes before colour.
Prep sequence
Cleaning, patching, sanding, and priming as the surface requires — the same sequence described on our drywall painting and ceiling services pages.
Staying in touch
On multi-day jobs, you'll know who's on-site and roughly where things stand — not left guessing.
